See how they run

We thoroughly enjoyed Monday evening. We took a trip to Battersea Barge to see some old friends. For lots of reasons, we've not managed to see the last couple of gigs and so it's been a long time, indeed. I speak of the Three Blind Mice, namely Alex and Lyndon. The third bloke we don't really know. We used to know the third bloke when the third bloke was Garry, but he moved on to Eastbourne. He still does gigs with Alex and I am pleased to say, we're pretty confident that Alex and Garry are providing the music at our wedding reception. We have made sure Alex has written it down - we just need to check Garry still remembers. Good news really, because that means we get to go and see them perform again in a couple of days. They are really good and will blow any sort of disco out of the water.

It was great to hear them again. They played a fair bit of new stuff - even a couple of Lyndon's new songs were quite good :-) They also played a lot of our old favourites, finishing off nicely with the classic "Ride On". Brill.
